Where I live, on a clear day I can see all three of the highest mountains in southern California. The double-punch storms of a few days ago left all three with a thick cover of snow. It didn’t snow at my house this year, but four years ago we woke up the week of Thanksgiving to find a soft, white blanket had fallen during the night. The photo above is from that. Everything IS dead pretty when it snows.
